A property, an association, a sanctuary, a shop and a workshop — all rooted in the same patch of wild Alentejo. This is the front door. Pick where you'd like to go.
Tara Verde is a rural place in the southwest Alentejo — between Santa Clara-a-Velha and the wild Vicentine coast. It grew out of one idea: that a place can be a sanctuary, a small economy, a community and an experiment all at once.
It's more than one thing, so it lives on more than one page. Stays and the land, ceremonies and gatherings, the non-profit work, the shop, the maker side, the video archive — each has its own door, and they all open onto the same campo.
"Not a farm, not a retreat, not a brand. A place — and the people who tend it."
Seven faces of the same place. Some are wide open, a couple are still being built — we'll never pretend otherwise.
Glamping, an outdoor bathtub under the stars, a spa room and Tesla charging. Stay by request, near Santa Clara lake.
